Date: Wed, 20 Jun 2001 18:01:25 +0200 Over the years Alcor and Transtime have both bought specially designed 4 person dewars (some called big foot). Would anyone care to let me or the Cryonet list know, who that engineered, manufactured and sold these units? And when this was done? Who would be the contact persons at Alcor, Transtime or in the cryonics movement that would have ordered these dewars and that would also know how to order such again? And what are their e-mail addresses? I have some of this information stored in the USA, but the INS prevents me from retreiving it. I seem to recall that Minnesota Valley Engineering, and Taylor Wharton both have produced dewars for human storage, but there was another company in Minnesota or some nearby state that also was involved. Maybe they bought the units from MVE and then rebuilt them and resold them to Transtime and or Alcor. Anyway I just spoke to the European office of MVE, and we are trying to track down who at MVE that were involved so that we can track down the engineering prints and get a price quote.
