Dave Pizer and Scott Badger predict that entities of the
future will find it of absolute moral necessity to bring
back people from the past.  I think that this is almost
certainly correct.  They will consider it morally beneath
contempt to allow people to remain frozen who could otherwise
live.  They will, I claim, see the situation as the moral
equivalent of rescuing people from a hazardous situation.

Even today, all societies find it morally unconscionable to
allow victims of traffic accidents to be left unaided, even
if there is no guarantee of insurance coverage.  The very
idea of just letting people die is no longer acceptable.
So it's just a question of time before intelligent people
realize the logical necessity of treating in the same matter
those who have recently deanimated.
