Dave Pizer and others have expressed some views on values, with apparently
the idea that a "selfish" orientation is not as good as a more altruistic
one. My remedy is to consider *enlightened* self-interest,...

The writer Dennis Prager http://www.dennisprager.com/ would call this
"intelligent self-interest." He views a healthy marriage as a perfect
example of this. Prager is one of my favorite intellectuals on the subject
of the human condition and the search for happiness.

It will take some work to refine this. I want to have some strong argument
in place for the rights of frozen persons when the Venturists "come out" in
a year and take on the status quo of the non-immortalists world-wide. Thanks
for the suggestions.

Terrific!!! Dy-no-mite!!! I look forward to you and your organization
taking on the world in a year's time.

My beautiful list of the four things to transform the cryonics movement...
1. The development of vitrification by 21st Century Medicine.
2. The announcement of the Timeship which is to be completed in 7 years.
3. The proposal by Fred Chamberlain to upgrade Alcor facilities so
vitrification can be effectively done there. They still need funds!
4. The Venturist resort/cryonics community project.

The mind boggles to think where the cryonics movement may be in less then a
decade! I desperately hope all four projects find success.

best wishes,

John
