Reflecting on my last posting re the area code change (#1715), I see that I may have given the impression that *Alcor* would be footing the bill for any bracelet replacements. (To save time, I use the word "bracelet" to mean "bracelet and/or necktag.") Actually, it's not clear at this point how we will finance such an endeavor. It's possible that individual members will need to cover this cost themselves. It's even possible that we won't need to replace *any* bracelets. We may yet arrange a way for the 714 number to continue working. I'll provide details when I have them. Of course, those Alcor USA/Canada members whose bracelets bear the 714 number may want to get a new one which bears the 800 number anyway. Bracelets and necktags cost $30 each. Those who would like to order one need only call me with a credit card number or send me a check (payable to Alcor, of course) in the same amount. These orders have a one to two month processing time. Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=1729
