        For the last year, I have been regularly checking Dr. Stephen 
Barrett s web site, www.quackwatch.com, waiting for his response to a reader 
question,  Cryonics   is it valid?  He finally posted his response, which 
misrepresents cryonics and contains a few obvious errors, on September 2. No 
one on Cryonet has mentioned this yet, so it s up to me to sound the alarm.

	I have already sent my own comments to his site, but I am not qualified to 
give a thorough response (specifically, a response to the claim that brain 
cells  burst  when frozen). I m hoping someone on this list can.
