I have to agree that dispersal and decentralization will probably be
essential survival strategies over the next hundred years or so, but I
want to introduce a slightly different wrinkle: There are many good
reasons for Alcor's suspension facilities to remain in a metropolitan
area. There are also many good reasons (given by Dave) for their storage
facilities to be in a more remote area. What are the good reasons for
keeping the two together? Are they increasing or decreasing, and do they
outweigh the benefits of separating them?
