I have to agree that dispersal and decentralization will probably be essential survival strategies over the next hundred years or so, but I want to introduce a slightly different wrinkle: There are many good reasons for Alcor's suspension facilities to remain in a metropolitan area. There are also many good reasons (given by Dave) for their storage facilities to be in a more remote area. What are the good reasons for keeping the two together? Are they increasing or decreasing, and do they outweigh the benefits of separating them? Eric Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=17527
