A greater threat to our chances of revival may come from intolerance
and political hatred than anything else. I phrase this in very general
terms, but I am including the 'Chiller' (novel) scenario, religion-
exacerbated terrorism, individual psychopathology, and a military
response to a social problem.

Let's at least try to leave international politics out of our cryonics
discussions. I'm reminded of the story of a 19th century dinner party:
"And what is your religion, sir?"
"Madam, all men of sense are of the same religion."
	"And what religion is that?"
"Madam, men of sense never say."

That said, I quite agree with those who wish to share their personal
experiences - that is useful for all of us. I have no problem with other
people who wish to present other experiences that might tend to
different conclusions. I see less value in arguing hypothetically
about whose conclusions are correct. Cryonics patients represent
a cross-section of humanity as broad as admissions to any other
regional hospital. Politics should not be a screening question on the
admission form.
