Subject: Why you may not get suspended - no matter what!

I was talking to Mark Plus today and we discussed what might happen to
cryonics members (or any organization) who are killed by biological weapons.

Suppose a cryonics member is killed by bilogical means and his/her body if
full of the stuff.

How can a mortician or cryonics team prepare that body for suspension?

How can a cryonics team place that body into suspension?

Even if there was some way to safely handle and store the body, what is the
government going to force you to do? Mark and I speculated that the
government might have some mandatory cremation policy for bodies killed by
biological weapons. If they found out that a cryonics company had accepted
one of these bodies, would they pull all the patients out and cremate all
of them?

I think all cryonics companies should investigate, brainstorm, and have a
plan for this possiblity, and let their members know what it is so that
members can try to protect their suspensions as best as possible.

Some of the possible safeguards might be:

1.	Live in a small town. Less likely to get attacked.
2.	Get your water from a well or spring, or use bottled water.
(Always drink the oldest water first, water you have had a while, so if it
was contaminated there would have been time for a public announcement).
3.	Keep plenty of spare water and food on hand.
4.	Keep a gas mask on hand. (you can get them in surplus stores).

If you can think of any other safeguards, please share them. We don't want
to get parnoid, but it doesn't hurt to take a few precautions.
