Subject: Making LN2 & Alcor safety

Recently I posted an argument for Alcor's safety by suggesting that Alcor
can make LN2 for a lower cost than they can buy it and that Alcor's safety
would then be enhanced if this war escalates. A friend mentioned to me
that there would be the problem of electricity.

I should have mentioned that I support Alcor moving to a rural area, making
its own LN2, AND having the capability to make its own electricity in
crisis periods. Making electricity would entail having an underground
propane tank - far away from the buildings - that had an underground line
going to a generator building. During times of electric outages, the
generator could be turned on to make electricity, to be used to make LN2.

In addition, in the case of a hugh disaster, (months and months of no
electricity), Alcor could also have solar and wind power to make
electricity. Arizona is an ideal place for solar power, and the light
breezes are good for wind power.

Sorry for being incomplete in the first post.

David
