On this evening's (Sunday's) Larry King show, Larry interviewed some congressmen and other officials who said that potential biological attacks on the U.S. are our biggest risk. Apparently, the terrorists may have had a plan to use crop dusters to spread the biological agents, but if they did, it went wrong somehow. They were not real clear on this. If anyone knows more about this please let us know. Although most commercial and private flights have resumed, except around Washington and New York, all crop dusting has been halted. I am very glad that Alcor President, Dr. Jerry Lemler, has decided to discuss a possible move of Alcor to a potentially safer location with the Alcor Board at their next meeting. I hope there will be support to, at least, investigate this option. Also, Robert Ettinger's reminder that C.I. already owns a safe rural location that they can move their patients to, (and the patient caretakers to), was good news. Alcor has Hugh Hixon who has expertise on Biology and weapons, besides being a biologist, Hugh was a Captain in the Air Force and was stationed at a bomb depot. I hope Hugh has helped Alcor create some type of plan to protect Alcor in case of biological attack. Mike Darwin's post about possible conditions in a biological attack was very informative. As immortalists we need to have access to as much information as possible to protect ourselves. David Pizer Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=17654
