It will. Jerry Lemler asked me to collaborate on it with Hugh Hixon. I have obtained an estimate from a printer that Alcor often uses, and have talked with Hugh about his current projects at Alcor. I have also spoken to Joe Hovey about the way in which Alcor would mail the item. I am hoping that its content will include very brief news items about other organizations, in addition to news of Alcor, which would occupy most of the space. I will be paying for the first issue myself, to indicate my commitment. Since the cost of producing a slim monthly newsletter is low, I am hoping that after people have had a chance to inspect the product, we may get donations to support it. I would prefer that it should not be a financial burden on Alcor. I hope to work on the content beginning in the middle of next week. I have not felt any great urgency because my own application for membership in Alcor is still pending. I would prefer to be an Alcor member when the first issue appears. --CP Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=17673
