Surprisingly she is a woman who defends science against religion and communism , two forces that have killed so many people in the world! That 'objective philosophy' is called Objectivism. I typed in http://www.objectivism.org and ended up at http://www.aynrand.org/ari_home.html. Like any philosophy, it has its fanatical, even otrowistic, devotees and its detractors. ... > >Otrowism -- belief that one's own way is the One True Right and Only Way. > > Or Islam, christianity, hinduism, judaism, buddhism, sikhism..... > Yes, all of those are (doctrinally, as far as I know) otrowistic. > >I think we have a language problem here. I think I have not come across any word for a non-religious person who believes in GOD! If there is one please let me know. What kind of filters have you got on? I went back to my post to check it: > think we have a language problem here. According to my American > Heritage Dictionary, the definition of "atheism" is "Disbelief in > or denial of the existence of God.". Similarly, the definition of > "theism" is "Belief in the existence of a god or gods.". Amazing as you may find it, I put in that last sentence just for you, Gurvinder, because I knew you were searching for such a word. I would describe you, most generally, as a "theist". Any other descriptive term would require knowing which god, that is, what is "GOD"? And yes, there are many forums that spend night and day discussing such topics. If you dipped your toe in a few of them and asked "What is a word for a non-religious person who believes in GOD?", I bet you'd come back (if you didn't drown) with some appropriate, more specific, words to describe you.
