I would recommend instead of being sponsored by large gifts, that the Alcor
Forum be distributed by web and anyone wanting a hard copy find a friend
willing to print it out for him. So many people have Internet access these
days I should have thought that anyone who doesn't at least knows someone
who does.

For those people who don't know any other cryonicists, then there could also
be a list of cryonics volunteers who would agree to send a limited number of
copies in their local postal area. (ie once A has sent say 5 copies per
issue then B is called upon and so on).

I hope that ACS and Timeship send in reports to future issues - and then we
can finally say goodbye to the strange universe with just the one star,
Alcor, shining in it.

I also feel that any printed material should contain strong encouragement
for any cryonicist not on the Internet to get connected, even if only by
simple equipment that views web pages and email on TV. A time may well come
when it is cheaper to free-issue new members with such equipment rather than
run expensive print and mail operations. Arguments against the Internet
based on the prevalence of pornography, spam or time wasting browsing are
not relevant - an internet connection could be cost effective just for
cryonet and cryonics web pages.
