Subject: Lively Lemmings & CI's First Parrot

CryoNet:

Human stupidity is formidable but it's not invincible -- Robert C.W. Ettinger

Pretty well sums it up.

However, maybe it's only news to me, but it appears the Lemming Analogy is no
more. They're not as mindless as we thought. They were framed:

I very much enjoyed seeing Bob recently. He is a great man. I found him in
real good form.

My beloved parrot, Diesel, is now safely at the Cryonics Institute for
long-term care. He has been in private cryopreservation since April of 2000.

Diesel got his name as he was always on the go. It would have been nice to
have an "off button." You could never convince him he wasn't human. In his
eyes, he was "just a little smaller than most and maybe had a feather or
two." In fact, he was very human in many ways. It was incredible. I never
would have believed it. He was a very good friend.

Diesel believed the measure of a man was not really his size, but rather the
size of his voice. He could just as easily have been named Decibel.

Maybe you'll see, err...hear.
