X-Message-Number: 18151 From: "John de Rivaz" <> Subject: Biotime Inc Date: Thu, 13 Dec 2001 09:47:31 -0000 A recent shareholders' circular from Biotime Inc, the spin - off from Trans Time, appears at http://www.streetlink.com/BTX/ The highlight is >>> Sales of Hextend during the third quarter of 2001 increased to $971,472 from $669,409 in the previous quarter of the year. This represents a 45.1% increase in sales, and was more than twice the 21.6% increase in Hextend sales between the first and second quarters of this year, indicating continued acceleration of sales growth. BioTime receives royalties quarterly, based on sales of Hextend. This increase was highly significant as it came during the summer quarter, when fewer elective surgeries are generally performed. Sales were also temporarily impacted by the postponement of many elective surgeries subsequent to the events of September 11. <<< The spin-off is obviously highly advantageous to Trans Time. -- Sincerely, John de Rivaz: http://www.deRivaz.com my homepage links to Longevity Report, Fractal Report, music, Inventors' report, an autobio and various other projects: http://www.geocities.com/longevityrpt http://www.autopsychoice.com - http://www.cryonics-europe.org - http://www.porthtowan.com Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=18151
