My only contribution above and beyond the previous:

This is proof of another dream sequence.  Think of it, a wildly rich guy, 
who lives in NY, who drives an old, black mustang would dream about this 
car.  And I feel that even this guy couldn't have this ferrari.  Not just 
any ferrari in this sequence, its a Daytona, of which there are 12-20 on 
earth (I believe).  Only in the hand of collectors, $1 mil minimum.  So, 
it's just further proof that the dude takes ordinary memories in his 
dreams, and "skews" them a bit lucidly.  For a car guy, that's the coolest 
scene in the movie, I don't think anyone has ever had that car on film yet :)

Anyone, too much thought into a relatively insignificant scene, but 
everyone else is piling on :)
