Good grief!  Not the live action Flintstones movie?!  <shudder>  That
thing scares me!  Maybe CI shouldn't post a regular newletter to Cryonet
after all!  8-)

I think what Alcor's postings do is put a more human face on their
ogranization, as well as showing that they are doing things (even if
routine tasks).  It is good p.r.-- demonstrating that Alcor is a group of
normal people working as oppossed to soulless scientists secretly trying
to raise the dead ala Frankenstein.  (I doubt anyone reading cryonet
thinks Alcor is a collection of Dr. Frankensteins, but their postings
establish a public record which anyone can print out if the need to
demonstrate otherwise should arise.)  Plus, it gives me an idea of who
does what at that organization.
