Hi everyone!

I want to congratulate Mike Darwin for one more percipient comment
about present arrangements. I hope that the cryonics societies will
listen and in particular erase the provision for repayment. We'll
have to either trust that they will repay if asked, or have some
other arrangement than life insurance.... or be sure that we'll never
apply for Medicare.

For what it's worth, here in Australia the gov is a bit kinder about
holding money if you receive payments from them. They are not totally
kind .... I recently found myself owing several thousand dollars
when I thought that the amount would be repaid. But the right to
keep your own money seems to be thought better of here, at least in
the case of Medicare-like arrangements.
