About the reply to my comment re: replacement of current societies someday by much bigger ones. There is a simple difference between electronic companies or computer companies and cryonics societies. It is that difference which may prevent what you talk about. A cryonic society requires trust and a long effective past history of storing people. An electronic company only need produce a clearly working and desired device. AS I said in my original message, I do not claim to predict the future. But I did think that the idea that cryonics will be taken over by much bigger companies which do not connect with the existing ones is not so obvious. The existing cryonics societies now have a history that no NEW society can match; it might absorb an existing society, and get a history that way, but not by just starting. Best wishes and long long life to all, Thomas Donaldson Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=18442
