In Message #18535: "nitrogen" Professor Ettnger informed us that CI has cut
their liquid nitrogen costs by about half!

I am incredibly impressed.

Lowering overhead expenses and better insuring the supply of liquid nitrogen
are simply super smart things to accomplish.

One of the things I have always liked about CI has been their dedication to
remaining debt free and striving to be as self sustaining as possible.

We all want to see our cryonics organizations survive for the long pull by
redcuing overhead and having liquid nitrogen on site is the kind of
insurance that I can understand.

I would encourage all cryonics providers to consider doing the same with
regard to liquid nitrogen if that is not already being done.  (Perhaps it is
and I was simply unaware of this).

That kind of back up just seems to make a great deal of sense to me.
