I had entered fluoxetine into the Chemfinder and all I got was the chemical formula; no synonyms. C17H18F3NO 309.3305 Now, that I entered prozac , I get: Fluoxetine Hydrochloride [59333-67-4] Synonyms: Prozac; (+/-)-N-methyl-3-phenyl-3-[(alpha,alpha,alpha-trifluoro-p-tolyl) oxy]propylamine hydrochloride; C17H19ClF3NO 345.7914 I guess the addition of one each of H and Cl atoms made the difference from fluoxetine to Prozac.
