I think the gains outweigh the risks, and since he's expressed willingness to sign Waivers from Hell, most of the risk is his. Go for it. Of course, if something goes wrong, we have a Weird Scenario that makes even the Battle of the Coroner pale by comparison. Here's Mike Darwin, arguably the most visible and influential cryonicist of all, frozen in a dewar at Alcor . . . and Alcor is legally obligated to take him out and thaw him. I need no recourse to the dictionary to identify that as irony. Mike, I have been told that the building trade uses a grade of "foam" board much tougher than Styrofoam or "foamcore" - so strong that one can walk on it without denting it. I don't know a brand name; I'm told it's blue, as if that were any big help. Does that sound like possible shoe material? Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=1889
