Actually, I agree with you, Mike, that Six Feet Under *is* more thought
provoking, reality based, and more deeply philosophical than Crossing Jordan.
 It is certainly "darker."

And, I think most folks would agree with you about "postmortem issues handled
with deft wit and anchored partially to reality" in Six Feet Under, a show I
truly enjoy.

Perhaps they will even have a show with multiple corpses being eaten by rats!
That would certainly be dark, gross, and visceral enough even for HBO.

My posting was primarily about the cryonics element in this recent Crossing
Jordan episode, not comparing and contrasting postmortem TV shows. Is most
prime time TV vapid, shallow, a waste of time? Probably. But, let's face
reality. Most of us watch it and enjoy it anyway. I would be pleased if Six
Feet Under would do a well done and positive spin on cryonics. It could even
be a continuing plot line.

I think you would be the one to write this, Mike Darwin. You write extremely
well, have a high sense of drama, and an enthusiasm for the gritty,
unvarnished, cynical, and real that would fit in perfectly with the angst
ridden characters (who I also like and find myself caring about) on Six Feet
Under.

Do any of you Cryoneters know anyone connected with the show, or *how* to get
a positive spin episode and millions of dollars of free publicity from this
rather popular delightfully antiauthoritarian HBO show?
