Dying under bad circumstances is something I saw a lot of when I was Alcor's
VP. One reason I believe there is a need for a cryonics community and
cryonics retirement community is to eliminate or minimize this. There are
many things a community of cryonicists can do to improve its members chances
of getting a better suspension.

One of the most horrible things I saw happen to cryonics members as they got
older was that they were not around people who cared that their wishes were
carried out. Sometimes, when one gets older, they find themselves alone.

Our resort and conference center will be open around August. My first
choice for employees there will be to hire cryonicists. That will be the
start of the cryonics community; people working and living in an atmosphere
that often puts on life extension conferences.

If all goes as plans, we would like to start construction on the cryonics
community a few years later. This will be a little cryonics town.
