Apparently Arthur C. Clarke is impressed by the argument that you become a 
different person every decade or so.  Does Clarke in 2002 still accept 
royalty checks for books written in previous decades by now-nonexistent 
Clarkes?  If not, he could send a few of them my way.

And has Clarke's thinking about identity been influenced by the Theravada 
Buddhism of his adopted country of Sri Lanka?
