How do we fight back against this most destructive form of >political correctness? Any ideas? I'm not sure you can (retain your sanity).... I share your irritation with the lack of positivity and optimism that is being perpetuated through the doomsday thinking that you scorn, however certain realities cannot be denied. The reason for criticising the Kyoto Protocol it is that is way too weak. Not demanding enough. Of course refusing to sign the Kyoto Protocol doesn't have to mean a complete shirking of responsibility in relation to sustainable alternative energy development. However, I don't what your govt. is doing but I know ours is shirking reponsiblility in favour of protecting jobs and economic growth. Very irresponsible and short-sighted if you ask me, we shall see. As for fighting back,... I'm not sure why you want to fight back. What's your postition? Don't you think that Global Warming is a threat? Or do you think that it is overhyped? If the threat weren't so great because preventative measures were evident I might agree but I don't see anything adequate being done about it in my corner of the world. Although I did hear of one scientist researching a means of transforming greenhouse gases to a harmless form... it's a big problem but perhaps a solution can be found. optimistic in spite of it all, Tracey Simon Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=19262
