The speech was basically telling the Palistinians that they have to
democratically select a knew leader, as long as it's one that is acceptable
to the Bush Regime. Sounds like Afganistan, and a few other places recently...


COMMENT:

Not just recently.  You will remember FDR, during WWII, basically figuring
that he had the firepower to tell the free French they could have any leader
they liked, so long as it wasn't de Gaulle. The problem was, they wanted de
Gaulle.
