Some mentioned that John Henry Williams might be
considered a hero, if cryonics does work out. I agree.

What an interesting development!... I just can't wait
to see who will be
next! :o) If there ever has been a case for
celebrities and promoting
cryonics, this is it, my friends. Not the last one, I
may assure you. Within
5 years, my prediction is that we'll be hearing more
about cryonics as many
aging celebrities pass on and are suspended either at
their own will or by
their children and families...

Not only that, but we have seen many times how some
celebrities will do almost anything to revive their
careers; many have been suspected of running afoul of
the law in order to garner more publicity; certainly
many have married other celebrities in order to get
publicity. I would not be surprised to see some
celebrities jump on the cryonics bandwagon, seeing as
how the Williams case how generated so much publicity.

From all I've read on the Net, it doesn't appear that
Ted Williams has
signed anything that would positively show that he has
agreed to be
suspended.
...
The lawyer for John Henry and Claudia Williams
would not comment on whether such papers exist. ''I
cannot discuss anything
that may or may not be filed in a future court
proceeding,'' said lawyer
Robert Goldman."

This seems to imply that there is at least something
that has Ted's sig on it.
