Subject: Cryonics Milestones

I think we'd agree that it will be a while before
anyone is revived from cryonic suspension. An
important question though is what will be the major
signs that practical cryonics is near?

IMHO these might include:
successful freezing and use for transplant of a human
kidney(one of the more difficult organs to freeze and
an area of active research).

revival of a mammal from cryonic suspension

What I would personally like to see here are a series
of inter-connected milestones(the sort of things that
might go into a PERT chart)--some of which are fairly
short term milestones. These could be entered into
www.ideosphere.com for evaluation and we'd start to
get a more realistic and adjustable timetable here.
