Subject: BBC & MSN Cryonics Polls - numbers are up there

It's interesting to see that American mostly and British/European poll
takers are respectively 28% in favor of cryonics if given "Yes, No, Not
Sure" choice and 20% if faced with a trip to Hawaii as a distraction. I
think that MSN poll reflects the "hard core" numbers of "believers" more
than the BBC poll as many people read the BBC article just for the Hawaii
connection :o) But still, the numbers are up there and it'll be interesting
to see how this pans out on the CI membership.

This is from an MSN Poll (as of 9:20 a.m. Sunday, Sept 22nd)

Article ran originally July 10th, 2002

Assuming you could afford it, would you have yourself put into cryonic
suspension?
