Subject: CRYONICS Wind Power?

At some point Alcor will invest in its own LN2 liquifier for
cost and safety backup reasons. This would be accompanied by an
emergency electric generator such as hospitals use (powered by either
gasoline or diesel fuel, I think).

If solar or wind power was cheaper than power from your
utility company, why doesn't everybody use it? For that matter, if it
was cheaper than a diesel generator, why don't hospitals use it for
backup?
