Naturally I hope that I will not have to use Ventureville soon as a place to go and be closer to Alcor because I am dangerously ill. And for Mike: I will try to access the site you mention, though I suspect that if it hasn't been yet published hardcopy it soon will be ... we aren't so far into computers that hardcopy isn't still put out, especially if the result is significant. Still we should all have thought of that possibility. After all, by performing an effectively infinite number of operations quantum computers would violate the initial assumptions of any proofs that such computation is impossible. We should hardly be surprised if this leads to violation of standard computing truths. Best wishes and long long life to all, Thomas Donaldson PS: Hey guys --- and you know who you are. Please don't tempt me to talk about nuclear power in this forum again. Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=20275
