Recall my project about looking at star ocultations with a set of movable
telescopes? This would be the first level to get an intensity interferometer,
the device working as a testbed of a phonon intensity interferometer, one of
the first brain reader. Beyond telescopes for data gathering, there must be
some observing instruments if some people must be recruited for that project.
Large binos are best than small telescopes for that, so I have bought a 100
mm binocular, unfortunately, there is a weight problem to handle them. So I
have built an all metal rigid mount. This is more stable than any camera
tripod and don't tumble down as many marketed bino mounts. It is too an
exercise in making a small mount before making larger ones for observing
telescopes.

Y. Bozzonetti.
