Subject: Loooooooooong URLs - snip them with www.snurl.com

Just wanted to pass on something I learnt today from a fellow Realtor :o)

Check out this free service http://www.snurl.com. If you have a long URL
(web site address) and it breaks down when you type it, this web site will
create an *instant*link to its server that will redirect you immediately to
the web site. E.g this long link
http://www.ascribe.org/cgi-bin/spew4th.pl?ascribeid=20021001.133336&time=21%
2004%20PDT&year=2002&public=1

becomes http://www.snurl.com/7sf

I've noticed that many scientific and not scientific :o) articles have the
loooooooooongest URLs ever, so you gotta love this!

It appears that they are supposed to last for a long time, according to
their web site "in theory, they last forever" :o) - sounds like a great
proposition for cryonics :o)

Sincerely,

IGGY Dybal
