It raises some valid questions. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: (Mark Plus) Subject: Alcor's news void Date: 1 Nov 2002 20:56:43 -0800 Is anyone else bothered by the fact that Alcor is pretty much a black box these days when it comes to news? Its magazine lately has been singularly uninformative about the real problems facing cryonics. I've also heard from a third-hand source that an employee recently got fired, but I haven't heard why, and whether the employee's actions threatened the patients or the organization somehow. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- And yes, it appears to me that Alcor has gone back to the same level of obscurity it had before the "This Week At Alcor" postings began. Of course that was overkill, but it was better than no information at all. Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=20385
