Some people feel like they have achieved a sort of immortality if their name,
(and therefore the memory of them), continues on in some way.

Would those people feel like they had achieved that immortality if someone that
knows them achieves immortality, (and always remembers them), even if they (the
original person) does not?

Could a cryonicist charge a fee to remember others if he/she makes it" "Give me
a hundred dollars now, and I will remember you forever."?

Could this method be used to get friends and family, (perhaps a spouse), to
sign up: "If you live forever honey, and you remember all of your friends and
family, you will be bestowing immortality on them."?
