  Well, you could try hunting. Obviously not everyone can get their food that 
way, but there is a big surplus of deer and elk in many states... most people 
can't walk far enough from their couch to find a deer. And there's plenty of 
squirrels on college campuses...
  Finding staple plant foods that don't have breeding and soil-induced 
nutritional deficiences is more problematic. Anyone have any thoughts?
