Subject: No new breakthroughs needed

Everyone is commenting on the stagnation or not of progress. I'm not
here to wage in on that war. I do have an observation to make though and
it is so simple that I need not draw it out into a thesis paper.

It is simply this. There was comment that the only progress we are
seeing is increased miniaturization and increased computing power as per
Moore's law. Well frankly that's good because that's all we need. For
increasing our approach to singularity or better yet pre singularity and
all that will bring, and I must interject that I'm in the augment human
intelligence via nanotech as the best route to reach our goals camp, all
we need is strong nanotech. For strong nanotech we need exactly mostly
only more miniaturization and increased computer power via Moore's law.

Once we have augmented intelligence we'll get to the major breakthroughs
that are lagging... trust me.
