In response to Russell Jefferson, I don't really care if I am considered a
weirdo. I have worked with my colleagues for 2.5 years and I think they already
know me well enough to judge if I am weird or not. I sense that I am liked and
respected by them for the most part. I think any subject can be safely discussed
as long as one tries not to sound fanatical about their views. Fanaticism, in
my experience is what turns listeners off.

As for the discussion on war, well, what can we do to stop it? I'd love to
convince Bush that his family has threatened our peace and safety more than
anyone else in my recent memory. I doubt that if the UN cannot convince him to
back off, that I can make any difference. I just hope that Chretien (the Prime
Minister of Canada) is wise enough to keep out of it. So far, I think he has
been. Frankly, if Bush would cling to the Christian values he professes to
carry, he would know that warmongering is not one of them- peace and charity
are.
