Cryonics Institute has its 47th patient, and the first one involving a 
collaboration with Suspended Animation Inc (SAI), the recently active 
preparation company based in Florida. It was another death-bed membership and 
barely under the wire. 

(Once more, if applicable to anyone reading this, please make every effort to 
join, and complete legal and financial arrangements as well as practical 
arrangements, as soon as possible, and long before there is an emergency. 
Attempted death-bed sign-ups usually fail.)

SAI had people at the hospital, in Florida, for a day or two before death. 
Thanks to David Shumaker and David Hayes of SAI. There will probably be more 
detail in the next issue of The Immortalist (not the one currently being 
mailed).
