The total U.S. debt is 32 trillion and climbing and is the primary reference point we can use to prove we're in huge trouble. Cryonicists need to brace themselves now." Don't just look at the debt. When looking at a balance sheet, as my friend Carlos Mondragon often says, first look at the assets. The USA probably owns 32 million trillion dollars worth of stuff - land, buildings, equipment, weapons, technology, and what would be called "blue sky" in business terms. This means the USA's assets are a million times it's debt. We should all be so lucky. I don't know if you are doing all of the below but if you really want to do the main things that will add to your chances of survival you might want to consider: Moving to a more rural area until this terrorist stuff is all over. Get a safe car. Get some health insurance. Start going to church - church-goers live longer. Start eating better. Don't go into the sleazy districts on Saturday night. Stay out of biker bars. Quit using the phrase "Osama sucks" when you're in those Muslim cat houses. Stop smoking. Quit worrying and be happy - happy people live longer. And last, since cryonics is not perfect yet - don't die!
