Subject: Bush's Bio-Nonethics Council

Yes, I read the same posting about Leon Kass and co.
and thier neanderthal attitudes towards life extension
and freedom, in general. I also clicked through to the
Nonethics council's website. These people are
borderline twisted when it comes to medical technology
and freedom.

Bush will probably hang himself in this idiot war he's
trying to get going. The economy probably will not
pick-up in time for the election next year, and we'll
vote his arse out of office along with his bioethics
council. So much for Leon Kass and co.

The truly frustrating thing about this is that I
really do agree with the Rebublicans on economic, and
most social issues. It is unfortunate that the party
has been hijacked by the neo-christian war-pathies.

The basic problem with Leon Kass and co. is that they
are in thier 60's and beyond (Francis Fukuyama is the
youngest member and he is in his mid-late 50's) which
means that they are of the same generation as my
mother who listened to Frank Sinatra music and thought
flying was glamorous. Like my mother, they cannot
possibly imagine why anyone would want to live longer
than the conventional life-cycle BS.

They really don't like my idea of becoming an
immortal, millionaire surfer dude, like what I want to become.
