Are there any reasons why plastination has not received much attention
from folks interested in radical life extension? It seems to get around
the blasted-cells problem of freezing. It might not completely stop decay,
but apparently it does it pretty well somehow - and maybe could be
enhanced by cooling to near-body-freezing temps.
 
I heard about it from the European Cryonics web site...
