Subject: CRYONICS Patient Position

I am a little surprised to hear that frozen patients will be stood on their
heads without additional support, under Mr. Wowk's plan. As I understand
it, in very old buildings, the glass in window panes is thicker at the
bottom at the top, since a gradual "settling" process occurs, glas not
being quite as solid as it seems. Although I lack a formal science
background, it seems to me that something quite similar could happen to a
frozen patient, especially if his/her body was fractured in several places.
One advantage of liquid nitrogen, I assume, is that it must provide much
better support than Mr. Wowk's system.
