If we need hundreds or thousands of five-gallon containers, we can
go straight to the manufacturer. Significant savings. Should the required
number get into tens of thousands, we might find it cost-effective to
custom-mold our own - if and only if we can't find a commercial product
that's perfect. The setup cost for blow-molding is high, but when you
need enough of *anything* it can pay to at least talk to an engineer
before you go to K-Mart . . .
