I have nothing against Hitler (the name) but I can't admit the nazi policy even in disguise under another name. The same for Stalinism, Maoism and other "dictatureism" as seen in South America for example. Religions, money, power, when unbalanced, are the roots of such "isms". My ideas are well known, so I have nothing more to loss. Some other could not say the same and could think two times about to whom they are speaking. may be it must be recalled that cryonet is something special. It is archived and these archives will be here when some contributor here will be reduced to an ice block. They will be here too when, someday there will be a solution out of the ice block. That potential second life may be very long, I don't think infinite, but it may be counted more in the millions of years than in centuries. Someone can do many things in that time frame, including having a major ruling position. So would it be good to live again someone with declared dictatorship feeling? I have said before that if I had a said in the use of a live again technology, such as a brain scanner for uploading, I would be strongly against such a second try for baby dictators. (I include hard core hunters, because I think what is important is consciousness, and all social mammals and birds seem to have more or less the same capacity here.) I have no faith in any god and I think you can do or say anything without benefit or punishment for such absurd concept (Churches are powerful pressure groups, but that is another story.) On Cryonet, what you say will be weighted someday by what is the nearest reality to a god: Someone or a machine having to say if you must live again or not. At that time you'll have no way to say anything for your case, you'll be on ice. On the other hand, you can say and more important, act now so that your case looks good. If you think the nearly infinite future will be taken by hysteric monetary dictatorship, then display it. If you think the future is about religion without restrain, an infinite dark age, then go to the church, scientology seem well started to build a world tyranny. Make your bets the game is open. I have made my choice: Metal working to make the tools of the next generation scientific instruments. My lathe wait me. Yvan Bozzonetti. "THERE IS NO CAUSE FOR ALARM. But there probably will be." --part1_116.244cab42.2c132d3d_boundary Content-Type: text/html; charset="US-ASCII" [ AUTOMATICALLY SKIPPING HTML ENCODING! ] Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=21904
