This type of propaganda inhibits the spread of any life-extension 
technology.

An earlier posted ref from 1972 calculated that carrying capacity of 
the Earth, using that day's agricultural technology, was 60 billion. It 
is estimated by the UN that population will not rise above 9 billion, 
down from the earlier estimate of 12 billion.
