According to recent reports, early modern man practiced preservation of 
head (actually the skull, given the technology 160,000 ago). So, 
whenever someone comments on cryonics/neuro-preservation as being a 
strange new practice, it should be pointed out that it is merely the 
oldest know mortuary practice brought up to date.
