The review does support the conclusion that Religion Explained is
imperfect, but it doesn't support the conclusion that reading it is
likely to be a waste of time.  Although his review finds some flaws
with the book, he concludes with this sentence:

>Despite its limitations, this book is a first-rate attempt to move the
>study of religion in the direction desperately needed now more than
>ever.

One would think that if the author of the review thinks something is
first-rate, then the author thinks it's worth reading.
