Subject: CRYONICS: Reply to Brian Wowk

In a previous message, I concluded with a statement that in the years
2000-2001 : Brenda peters would sign up personally 417 members
: Mike Darwin wouldnt poke fun at anyone
: Steve Bridge passes the CPA exam
Brian replied, asking if Steve had made some accounting faux pas he should
know about.
No...Steve has not made any accounting "faux pas". Quite the contrary, he
has made a stupendous effort to rapidly add accounting expertise to his
other managerial skills. In the light of the very serious and spirited
coldroom discussion taking place on the net, I made what I felt was
lighthearted and affectionate references to three people who are also
working very hard to improve the future of cryonics. Kinda like Brian is
doing with his coldroom design pioneering.
Brendas reputation is near legend for signing up new members.
Mike Darwins "tongue" is similiarly legendary and he has made
obvious effort as of late to stick to business.
And as for Steve, with virtually no background in accounting, he
has performed admirably in integrating the daily Alcor accounting, the
certified audit, and doing management type accounting for planning
purposes.
Absolutely, no direct or implied criticism or negative reference,
to any of the three was intended. Quite the opposite actually. Did any
one else besides Brian assume something negative was meant?
